Definitions of Inventory Items in the QuIC System:

Sensor – The item in the inventory which has a calibration cycle and requires
tracking of this cycle.

Device – Same a sensor only without calibration tracking.

Hardware – Computer Hardware.

Software – Computer Software.

Other – Anything else.

Chemicals - Chemicals.

Assembly – Group of objects joined together which have individual ID’s (for example CTD).

SP – Spare parts.

Storage - boxes, crates, custom storage containers.
